I haven't run into this personally, but I've never been a regular 
automount user.  You should check the RedHat/Fedora bugzilla to see if 
anybody else has run into this.  If not, file a bug there.  (This isn't to 
say that someone isn't welcome to go ahead and answer his question if 
you've run into this or whatever...)
